During this difficult time for many small business owners, Ontario Government created new programs to keep such businesses afloat.
Ontario Ministry of Finance recently made the following announcement:
We know COVID-19 has come at a cost for many small businesses like yours.
That’s why we’re working to ensure small businesses can keep employing people and serving their communities now and when COVID-19 is behind us.
Financial support is available from the Government of Ontario.
Applications have opened for the Ontario Small Business Support Grant, offering up to $20,000 in relief for eligible small businesses.
You can also apply for rebates for your property tax and energy costs, and a grant to help with the cost of purchasing PPE.
Visit ontario.ca/COVIDsupport and fill out an application.
Disclaimer: The above information on small business support during Covid-19 has been provided by the Government of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
